NexGen ProTrader Funding is no longer listed on PropScore

This really pains me to write, as I’d genuinely had a good experience with NexGen up until the payout process. I do not review props until I’ve reached a payout, but wow man this has been a grueller. As much as Matt, Brad and the guys from PropScore push NexGen - I think there’s a lot of work they need to do in order to compete with the other props. I requested $1,210.00, had to attend a risk interview and waited quite a while for my payout due to backlog. I appreciate NexGen is a small prop, but payment time really sets them back, which is a shame. Trading is hard enough without all these barriers. My payout was requested on Thursday 11th September, I met with their risk team on Tuesday 15th September and then finally received my payment on Tuesday 22nd September after filing a support case. Which in their defence, they were quite apologetic. Payment time would not be a major issue IF the dashboard updated as soon as the payout is approved allowing traders to continue trading their account. Risk Interview - outdated. I’m a full time trader and this is still bizarre to me, the guy on the interview was nice enough and genuinely interested in my trading, but it all just begs the question of… why? It’s ultimately a way for props to not hold up their end of the deal if you can’t answer a question on every trading execution. My payout was approved after the risk meeting but it’s such an odd endeavour. Dashboard also needs a lot of work and sometimes does not reflect your true account value. If it wasn’t for their free reset promotions - I would likely not trade with NexGen and trade with cornerstone props instead. However said promotion does give them the best straight to funded (sort of) in the game. My advice to the team, if it means anything, would be to speed up the payout process (doesn’t have to be same day) and also add a NT/Tradovate option to unlock more of the futures prop market.

Free Resets and trading conditions was great the payout is the worst I mean the worst even bulenox has 10 days but on that Tuesday the payout will come... Once I get my payouts will not trade with them no more.. Horrible payout experience. My Payouts are still in interview status after 7 days. Dashboard super slow to update they are really slacking...

First off, I will say I did not lose money with Nexgen, but I didn't really make money either. They moved me to live once I requested my 2nd payout. First payout was $1500 and on the second request of $1500, they gave me an option to put the $1500 in a live account or take the payout and have all my accounts closed and a 30 day rest period. I checked and my total spend with them was $2,000. So I've made $1,000 total. I'm not a great trader. I've blown 3 funded accounts with them so to move me to live after my 2nd payout request on my first funded account that survived just seems sketch. I don't think any of the streamers are live and they pulled out way more money than $3,000.

Unfortunately, had to come back and change the review. Closed up shop without notice to anyone. Left me with funded accounts near payout. Trusted them.

Nexgen is improving. They have new accounts. They offer decent discounts. They communicate via email and Discord very well. I like being able to trade through Tradingview. I gave an overall rating of 3, though, because of their drawdown once funded. For a 50K account, you can submit for payout once you reach 52,100, which is good. What's very tricky, though, is your drawdown does not lock until you reach 54,100. If you're not aware of that little intricacy, you'll probably try to take a payout that will then leave you very little drawdown pressing forward. This is the only prop firm I've come across who has drawdown like this. Very strange. If they change that then I'll come back. I gave a rating of 2 under payouts because they are very slow in comparison to other firms. I got one payout from them and it took almost 2 weeks.

I’m giving this a 3-star review for now. My experience has not been terrible, and I understand there have been some issues related to Stripe that may have caused payout delays. My first payout was requested on 8/10, approved on 8/11, and additional documents were requested on 8/12. As of 8/15, I still have not received the payout. What concerns me more is that I have seen several others express the same frustration with slower payouts since around 8/4. When multiple people are experiencing the same issue, it starts to feel less like an isolated delay and more like something that needs to be addressed. I appreciate Matt and the Rocket Scooter team and the system they have created. Right now, their prop firm score is 6.4, and I believe it was higher before the Stripe issue. While these payout problems continue, I think it would be helpful for Rocket Scooter to mention that payouts may currently take longer than expected when sharing Nexgen deals with the group. That would allow people to go in with the right expectations. I’m hopeful things improve. Once I receive this first payout, I’ll be watching to see how quickly and consistently future payouts are processed.

Love the free resets, support is fast and payouts take 3 days so its fine. Website could be better but otherwise top

Nexgen has been a fantastic addition to the prop firm game. These guys care about traders and you can see it on the changes they are constantly making as well as their customer service. I have nothing bad to say about them even though their are several folks complaining about their new risk team interview process. I think its smart for them to do and have no issues with it. I hope to see them stick around for the long haul. Their deals are also UNMATCHED!

I finally got my first payout and it was through a NexGen account. I absolutely love this firm. While it took me a while to get used to trading on TradingView (I'm used to Tradovate), I got used to it and can't get enough. I've now got 3 funded accounts with NexGen and I look forward to more payouts in the future.

Never buy they are scamming after your payout
