TradeDay will auto-liquidate all open positions 2 minutes before TradeDay's tier 1 economic data releases, and open markets back up to trade 2 minutes after these releases. They will not fail you for accidentally trading tier 1 economic data releases, however, traders found to be ignoring these guidelines and abusing the policy will lose their account.
Copy trading is allowed across evaluation and funded accounts.
You can scalp with TradeDay, but certain practices are prohibited. Those include scalping at a high frequency or for a few seconds, designed to capture just a couple of ticks at a time. To see the full list of prohibited practices, please visit to the TradeDay website.
Traders can have up to:

- 3 Sim Funded

Algos and Bots purchased from a third party and employed by the trader are forbidden. To use an automated trading system, you must use one of the platforms we support: NinjaTrader, Tradovate, TradingView, Jigsaw and Quantower. TradeDay does not expose the Tradovate API to allow traders to connect automated trading systems directly.

Each evaluation account has a consistency target of 30%. The funded stage is without consistency rules.
There is no daily loss limit in the evaluation and the funded stage of the accounts.
Reach the buffer assigned to your funded account (typically the amount of drawdown that you have), then take out profits above the buffer at 80%, and/or within the buffer at a 50% profit split.
