Our futures trading commissions are structured as follows:
Micro Contracts: $0.5 per side turn
Mini Contracts: $1.5 per side turn
A “side turn” refers to either opening or closing a position.
IQ Capital Futures currently offers Core, Rapid, and Instant Funding accounts in $50,000 and $100,000 sizes. Current futures accounts use an End-of-Day trailing drawdown structure, with maximum position sizes of 5 minis or 50 micros on the $50K account and 10 minis or 100 micros on the $100K account. Core accounts allow up to 10 active funded accounts, while Rapid accounts are limited to 5. Core Challenges have no consistency requirement during evaluation and can be completed within a single trading day, while Rapid Challenges require a $3,000 profit target on the $50K account or $6,000 on the $100K account, a 40% consistency rule, and three minimum trading days. Challenges are valid for 30 days and may be extended for another 30 days for $19. Rapid Funded accounts now have no expiration or renewal requirement. IQ Capital currently supports Quantower, Tradovate, ATAS, and DeepCharts for Futures.
Futures may be traded during the available electronic session Monday through Friday, but positions may not be held overnight or over the weekend and are automatically closed at approximately 4:45 PM ET. News trading is fully permitted without a blackout window. Futures hedging, latency arbitrage, HFT, spoofing, platform manipulation, copy or mirror trading, external signal services, account sharing, and exploitative or extreme scalping are prohibited. Self-developed EAs and automated systems are permitted only when the trader retains full access to and control over the underlying logic; black-box or third-party commercial bots are not permitted.
Core and Instant Funding accounts use a 30% consistency rule once funded, meaning the trader’s highest-profit day may not exceed 30% of total profits required for payout eligibility. The consistency calculation resets after each approved Performance Reward and begins again for the next payout cycle. Core Challenges do not currently have a consistency requirement. Rapid differs substantially: the Rapid Challenge carries a 40% consistency requirement, but the Rapid Funded account now has no consistency rule and no associated funded profit target.
Current DLL-based Futures accounts use a $1,000 Daily Loss Limit on $50K accounts and $1,500 on $100K accounts, alongside a $2,000 and $3,000 maximum EOD drawdown respectively. For Rapid, the current FAQ expressly confirms that the first DLL violation is a soft breach and the account remains active; the second DLL violation is a hard breach and closes the account. Rapid Challenges now have no DLL, with the DLL beginning only in the funded stage. IQ’s older Core/Instant DLL articles still contain July language stating that reaching the DLL immediately causes a hard breach, which conflicts with the newer soft-breach product presentation and should not be treated as controlling for the newly sold soft-DLL configurations. The maximum EOD drawdown trails upward with new EOD highs but never moves back down; after the first payout, the drawdown is moved to the account’s original starting balance and remains permanently fixed there.
Core and Instant Funding accounts pay traders a 90% profit share and require 10 active trading days for each Performance Reward cycle. There is no minimum withdrawal amount. A trader may withdraw no more than 50% of the account’s current total profits per request, with the remaining profits staying in the account as a trading buffer. On $50K accounts, payout caps are $1,500 for payouts 1–2, $2,000 for payouts 3–4, and $2,500 from payout 5 onward. On $100K accounts, the caps are $2,000 for payouts 1–2, $2,500 for payouts 3–4, and $3,000 from payout 5 onward. Beginning with the second payout, at least 50% of the requested payout amount must consist of new profit generated since the previous payout. The 30% consistency calculation resets after each payout.
Rapid uses a separate payout structure. Performance Rewards are available after just one active trading day, the trader receives an 80% profit share, and each Rapid Funded account is limited to five total payouts, after which the account is closed. There is no minimum payout and no funded consistency requirement. A maximum of 50% of current account profits may be withdrawn per request, with the remaining profit retained as buffer, and subsequent payouts require new profit equal to at least 50% of the requested amount. Current official caps are $1,000 for payouts 1–2 and $1,500 for payouts 3–5 on the $50K Rapid account; the $100K Rapid account is capped at $1,500 for payouts 1–2 and $2,000 for payouts 3–5.
Performance Rewards are available by bank transfer or crypto, with the Help Center specifically identifying USDC on ERC-20 and the main site also advertising additional stablecoins and local payment methods. IQ Capital advertises a 48-hour payout guarantee; if an eligible payout exceeds that processing window, the firm states that the affected payout receives a 100% profit split. Payout eligibility is also subject to IQ Capital’s scalping rule, which requires at least 50% of the trader’s qualifying profits and at least 50% of trade count to come from trades held longer than 15 seconds.
