Trading commissions are built into the simulated environment to replicate real market conditions. Commissions count toward your PnL just as they would in a live account. For full commission details by instrument, see our website: https://goatfundedfutures.com/#instrument-list
Goat Funded Futures offers four main account types: EOD Challenge, Sprint Challenge, Instant Funded, and Flex Challenge. EOD and Flex use End of Day trailing drawdown, while Sprint and Instant Funded use intraday trailing drawdown based on highest equity. Once the trailing drawdown reaches the account’s starting balance, it locks there and stops trailing.
Challenge accounts have no time limit. Flex requires a minimum of 2 trading days during the evaluation. Instant Funded skips the evaluation phase and starts as a funded account immediately. Activation fees are $0 across the listed account types. Instant Funded accounts cannot be reset if breached.
Trading follows the CME futures session schedule. The main session runs from Sunday 5:00 PM CT through Friday 4:00 PM CT, with a daily maintenance break from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM CT. Overnight and weekend holding are not permitted, and all positions must be closed before the end of each trading session.
News trading is allowed during the evaluation phase. In funded accounts, a 2-minute buffer applies before and after scheduled high-impact news events. During that restricted window, traders cannot open new positions, close existing positions, or trigger pending orders. Positions opened before the restricted window may be held through the event.
For EOD, Sprint, and Instant Funded accounts, profits from trades closed within 2 minutes of opening are not eligible and may be deducted from balance and payout calculations. The trade itself is not considered a breach. Flex-specific documentation states that this rule does not apply to Flex accounts.
A hard breach occurs when a trader exceeds the maximum drawdown limit and results in account closure. Daily loss limit breaches, where applicable, are treated as soft breaches. This means open positions are liquidated and the account is paused until the next trading day.
A winning day is a trading day where net P&L reaches at least 0.2% of the account’s starting balance, including commissions and fees. Winning days do not need to be consecutive. After each payout is processed, the winning day counter resets and a new payout cycle begins.
Consistency is checked when a payout is requested, not in real time. If one trading day exceeds the allowed consistency threshold, the account is not automatically closed. The trader must continue trading and build enough additional profit so the largest day falls below the required percentage of total profits.
EOD accounts have a 50% consistency rule during evaluation and a 30% consistency rule in funded accounts. Sprint accounts appear to have no consistency rule during evaluation and a 30% consistency rule in funded accounts, but this should be confirmed because one GFF document conflicts with the Sprint account cards and Sprint-specific rule pages. Instant Funded accounts have a 20% consistency rule. Flex accounts have a 50% consistency rule during evaluation and no consistency rule in funded accounts.
EOD accounts have no daily loss limit during evaluation. In funded EOD accounts, the daily loss limit is a 2.5% soft breach. The funded daily loss limits are $1,250 on the 50K, $2,500 on the 100K, and $3,750 on the 150K.
Sprint accounts have no daily loss limit during either the evaluation or funded phase.
Instant Funded accounts have a 3% daily loss limit. The daily loss limits are $750 on the 25K, $1,500 on the 50K, $2,250 on the 75K, $3,000 on the 100K, and $4,500 on the 150K.
Flex accounts have no daily loss limit during either the evaluation or funded phase.
EOD accounts use End of Day trailing drawdown. The max drawdown is $2,000 on the 50K, $3,000 on the 100K, and $4,500 on the 150K.
Sprint accounts use intraday trailing drawdown. The max drawdown is $1,000 on the 25K, $2,000 on the 50K, and $3,000 on the 100K.
Instant Funded accounts use intraday trailing drawdown. The max drawdown is $1,250 on the 25K, $2,500 on the 50K, $3,750 on the 75K, $5,000 on the 100K, and $7,500 on the 150K.
Flex accounts use End of Day trailing drawdown. The max drawdown is $2,000 on the 50K, $3,000 on the 100K, and $4,500 on the 150K.
Requesting or receiving a payout does not automatically move or lock the drawdown at the starting balance. The drawdown remains where it was before the payout unless it has naturally reached the starting balance and locked there.
The minimum payout request across all Goat Funded Futures account types is $500. Payout requests must be submitted during an available payout window, either the 5th through 8th or the 20th through 23rd of each month. GFF states that payouts are processed within 48 hours, or within 2 business days after the request.
All payouts are processed through Rise. KYC is required. For EOD and Sprint accounts, KYC must be completed before the account is upgraded to funded. For Instant Funded accounts, KYC must be completed before the first payout.
EOD accounts require 7 winning days before a payout request. Sprint accounts require 5 winning days. Instant Funded accounts require 7 winning days and a minimum of 10 calendar days before the first payout. Flex accounts require 5 winning days.
For Instant Funded accounts, the first payout also requires reaching the 7% first payout target. After the first payout, the trader must surpass the previous equity high before requesting another payout.
Sprint and Instant Funded accounts have a 100% profit split on the first $10,000, then 90/10 after that. EOD accounts appear to use an 80/20 default split with an optional 90/10 add-on, but this should be confirmed because one GFF document says EOD uses 100% on the first $10,000 and then 90/10. Flex accounts use an 80/20 default split with an optional 90/10 add-on.
EOD and Flex accounts use a 50% withdrawal allowance structure. Traders may request up to 50% of eligible profit, subject to the payout cap for their account size. The remaining 50% stays in the account and may become eligible in a future payout cycle. Sprint and Instant Funded accounts do not use the 50% withdrawal allowance structure.
EOD payout caps are progressive by payout number. For the 50K account, the caps are $1,500 for the first payout, $2,000 for the second, $2,500 for the third, and $2,750 for the fourth and later. For the 100K account, the caps are $2,000 for the first payout, $2,750 for the second, $3,250 for the third, and $3,750 for the fourth and later. For the 150K account, the caps are $2,500 for the first payout, $3,250 for the second, $3,750 for the third, and $4,250 for the fourth and later.
Sprint payout caps are also progressive by payout number. For the 25K account, the caps are $800 for the first payout, $1,000 for the second, $1,200 for the third, and $1,500 for the fourth and later. For the 50K account, the caps are $1,500 for the first payout, $1,750 for the second, $2,000 for the third, and $2,500 for the fourth and later. For the 100K account, the caps are $2,500 for the first payout, $3,000 for the second, $3,500 for the third, and $4,500 for the fourth and later.
Instant Funded payout caps are fixed by account size. The 25K account has a $1,000 cap per cycle, the 50K has a $2,000 cap, the 75K has a $3,000 cap, the 100K has a $3,000 cap, and the 150K has a $4,000 cap.
Flex payout caps are based on 50% of profit up to a maximum dollar amount. The 50K account allows 50% of profit up to $2,000, the 100K allows 50% of profit up to $2,500, and the 150K allows 50% of profit up to $3,000.
Giveaway accounts follow the same general path as normally purchased accounts, but they have a 2% payout cap per payout cycle.
